Solitary

At times when I look around,
For support if I found
I found none but my own void
Abandoned I feel, valor butchered.

Like a globule of water
In the homicidal spiritless desert
Like a piece of land so puny
In the mezzo of a impetuous ocean
I am solitary

Like the unitary blurring star
In the unfathomable blank of sky
Like the hindmost mortal on earth
Left after the apocalypse
I am solitary

Resting on my bed, I so crave
At this hour, when I am in need
If I have the one, who could hold me
Give me amour, kiss my tears afar
Sing me in my ear, the aria of assurance
"I Am Here No Matter What"
So sanguinely I look everywhere
All I have are walls to stare.
